Saw some at Dollar Tree today but forgot to grab a bar. Says it has tallow and also glycerine, I think...wonder if anyone has tried using it for shave soap. Sometimes I'm in the mood for unscented, and I'm guessing this is unscented.
I use Ivory and have tried it as a shave soap. IIRC, it was just marginal on glide and the shave was alright. It has been a while though. Just picked some up today. Target had the 10 pack of bath bars on sale for $3 at my local store.
I have. I would say it is adequate and was my goto for field shaves in the Military. Men have used it for generations. Problem is, I am spoiled and this clouds my perception and judgement. Having used MWF, Pré de Provence, TSD Subzero, and Soap commander, to name a few, I can't go back. Once you have been to Paris you cannot go back to the farm.
