Introduced in 1976, Herbal had a very short "shelf-life". One year for everything but the stick
deodorant, which came off of the shelves in 1981.
I am not sure what "niche" Shulton was attempting to fill with this product. "Outdoor Man", represented by a "porn-star" tennis player.

Clearly, this was not Shulton's finest creation.
    Now...the scent:
Many of us were around in the mid-seventies. There was a shampoo called: Herbal Essence. NOT to be confused with the modern "Herbal Essences".

This is the SCENT! An EXACT DUPE!
Tree moss, juniper, sage. Very potent and long-lasting. This was the quintessential scent of the '70's.
This concludes my Shulton Old Spice commentary. If I had to rank them in my order of preference, this would be my list:
    1) Original
    2) Burley
    3) Lime
    4) Leather
    5) Musk
    6) Herbal
Shulton Old Spice is iconic, traditional, masculine and well-worth trying.
    Thanks for reading.
