I picked these up back in November 2012 and wanted to use up a couple of pucks of various soaps before I started using these. The boxes don't have the name Peet in the title which was dropped in 1953, and there's no zip code in the address so my guess is that these where made between 1954 and 1963 or so.

I grated one of the pucks into a Ziploc container a few days ago.

Added a little water and smooshed it all together.

Wow, this is a really great soap, every bit as good as the vintage Williams and Colgate that I love so much! I'd like to find some more but the Palmolive brand is a lot harder to find than Colgate.

Looks like you have a winner there. I have never seen the Palmolive Shaving Soap, and never seen the Colgate at all. :happy088:

I didn't even know Colgate made a soap!

I have some of the Palmolive pucks and they are harder to find than Vintage Williams or Colgate.

Great soaps all three of them.

    Enjoy!
