and a lady and her husband wanted to get their wedding ring Rhodium plated. The jeweler responded by saying that a Rhodium dip was $12,000 per ounce!!! If you have any thing Rhodium plated, you may want to insure it. I am sure that it has at least a 1/2 ounce of Rhodium on it. You may want to also check the precious metals exchange rates too. Just an FYI.
Seriously WTF?? that jeweler is ripping people off. Rhodium per ounce went over 10,0000 in 2008 but only briefly. The economic slow down has pushed Rhodium prices below 1000 and currently it is around 1150 an ounce from what I found on the internet. I had my wedding ring done about 2 years ago for 50 bucks.
