1. Whenever I sell on eBay, I get questions that rankle me. Yours wouldn't have.
  2. Or you can do an online eye test

  3. When I saw the thread title and poster my first thought was "yes, probably ". :happy097:
Just kidding, in response to your initial request it would have been easier and less D-Bag like to reply "no, sorry". Seems to me if I wanted to sell things it would be in my best interest not to tick off my potential clientele. Or as my grandmother used to say, you catch more flies with honey than with vinegar. Of course I used to reply, you catch even more with horses**t. I spent a lot of time in the corner as a kid.

  5. Don't be so hard on yourself. Even the seller couldn't find the relevant text, which is why he cut and pasted the whole thing.
There really is no need for him to be so rude. How hard would it be just to have given a polite response to your enquiry?

  6. What a jerk to that guy, not you. You were fine. The fact that he didn't know their actual values and listed it with an arbitrary price makes him the bad person.
  7. I do not think you were at all out of line. I have found with said auction sites are 1) EVERYBODY thinks they have a one in million item and price it accordingly, 2) The generation of the sellers is mostly likely from the 90's and have no clue on how to truly do a business transaction, think they are always right, and do not know how to take any kind of criticism whether constructive or not. I only speak very loosely with respect to the younger generation as I am only 33, and not all younger generations are so blatantly rude and disrespectful.

  15. One must always make an offer...you just never know.
  16. I often sell with buy it now price with offers. If I get a bid I counter it if needed and if someone wants more I generally ignore it. After all it is anonymous. Most of the time if it is something I don't like the answer is simply no thank you. No reason to go further with someone I don't know. I'm surprised he got so excited, definitely poor manners.

Some people are just as rude face to face as they are online.

  18. I have something listed right now for 239.99 with BIN with takes offers. Somebody offered $50.00 and I countered with $200.00 and I never heard from him again. I don't see a reason to even send him a message as he is just trolling for a deal. Besides it could be my friend @Darkbulb
