I purchased one about a year ago. I was very impressed with the quality, considering it only cost me $24.00. The twist action is smooth, the doors close evenly, the finish was excellent, and the blade fits tighter than other TTOs I've purchased in the same price range. The handle is a little bit longer than a Merkur classic, and a little shorter than a standard Merkur Progress. For me it has good balance. It is very forgiving, but at the same time gives me a good shave. It takes me 3 passes, but I don't get any irritation or razor burn. I've seen the gun-metal and I actually like it better than the chrome. The on line pictures do not seem to do it justice. It's one of those razors that people seem to grow out of as they become more experienced in wet shaving, however, everyone seems to keep them because they are so handy for a quick shave when you do not want to risk nicks and weepers. So, if I could only have one razor would it be a Weishi? Probably not, but at the same time I am glad I bought it and will not get rid of it. I actually have 2. Thanks, Alan
I really like my Gunmetal Weishi. While not my favorite face shaver, it's close and I like it equally to a Fatboy for shaving my head. I like it enough if I could only have one razor to shave both my face and head, the Weishi would be it. The gunmetal finish is beautiful and much nicer than it looks in photos. The travel case is a nice convience also.
I was given a TTO chrome version, new in the box and have not used it yet. I love my Gillette Tech and red box Personna blades.
More Weishi love here! Not that I have anything else to compare it to, but the shaves just keep getting better and better! My gold Weishi provided an awesomely close shave today with only two passes and a couple of rough spots that needed some cleaning up after the bulk of the shaving was done. I'm pretty sure the rough spots had more to do with my technique than with the razor itself.
It was also my first razor with some IP's from iamdarkangel over a year ago. A great way to start IMO.

Well............. Our beloved Weishi vendor is as fast as lightning, I must admit Found a really, really nice looking Weishi in gunmetal in the mail today (along with a stash of Dorco blades that came with it for the same price......)
