Hi ladies! I have a silly question: what did women use to shave their legs before safety razors?? Straights?? Or maybe the leg thing started later than I thought?? Do tell!! I can't imagine a straight would work on a curvy leg, but maybe in the right skilled hands...

While I'm not the gender you were looking to answer, I do know this, there are several ladies on this board that do use straights for leg shaving.

As to what was used in days gone by, that I can't help you with, sorry.

They used wax (and still do). Shaving is easier. :)

I didn't realize waxing was that old. I just figured ladies all had hairy "parts" until the safety razor came around. Well, I guess I could have lived back then, since women didn't look like werewolves.:happy102
