Such a smooth razor. One could shave with this in the dark and be ok. Slightly more aggressive than a tech (non triangle slotted), but just smooth as silk. I have this same razor and have yet to ever have a bad shave from it. Classic lines as well.

On topic: waiting on a Luxor Pro barber razor (disposable straight). Into the rabbit hole I go...

Will first order it today. A Simpson CH 1. I had a CH 2 before and sold it. The CH2 was just a little too dense for me and large for my arthritic hand. I sorely miss my CH2. I hope the 1 will be a better fit. Oh! you ask what prompted this purchase? A $600 poker win Monday

I'm excited, as well. I'm waiting on my first SE; a GEM Micromatic in "near mint" condition. It should be in my hands next Wednesday. I picked up some PAL blades at the local grocery store today......so I'll be ready to "give it a go" when it gets here.
