I am waiting on a 1924 EverReady in a case, and a 1952 blacktip. I may just clean up the blacktip and re-sell it.
Sorry to correct you kind sir, but if I'm not mistaken that would be an Ever Ready 1914 "Little Lather Catcher"... They are distinguished by having "lift here" stamped on both sides of the top cap, and it hinges at the rear instead of at the front like the Shovelhead. Nice razors. Hope this helps!
After receiving my first tin from Mike's Natural Soap, I ordered a second tin, Barbershop. Mike's soap is phenomenal!
Mike's Soaps are wonderful!!! I have one tin "Rose and Cedarwood" and one tin "Pine and Cedarwood". I use them only for special days.
UH'OH. It's started.... I've been looking for a birth year Gillette. It seems a nice starting point. I'm 1978, so, although not the most sought after, I fancied a twist/knack. I really like the look of them. ( I know, each to their own!). Well I found one, right quarter too, but couldn't agree on a price. I do see these vintage units seem to hold more of price in the uk. Any way. On my search and research, I came across a 1975 Black Beauty, recently refurbished. Blew my budget apart. But hey. It's not like Christmas is around the corner is it. ??
