...A PIF of course! Post up pics of your human powered means of transportation. Shoes (and by extension, heelys) are excluded. pogo sticks, skateboards, inline skates, quad skates, bicycles, tricycles, and Big Wheels (remember those?) are all welcome! I'll be posting pics of my quad skates when I remember where I left my camera. If you have something I didn't mention, feel free to post it. The prize is a bottle of Master's Bay Rum or Pinaud Clubman (winner's choice). The winner will be picked by random.org at the end of the month.
Heres a pic of my baby! A Sector 9 Tree Barrel Long Board! Not much waves in Oklahoma so Sidewalk Surfing is the next best thing! The gloves are some I made from some mechanics gloves and furniture sliders.....I use em to correct my direction when I'm turning a corner while crouched down low on the board or just to get more of a surfing feel like how they touch the water when they are inside a barrel (wave).
My 'Old Man' scooter. Fun, 70+ miles to the gal. ~30 mph. Insurance and license under 300$/yr. probably be more fun if I lived somewhere warmer!
Lol. Thanks for posting the pic, but I should point out that since it does not rely on human muscles for transport, you do not qualify for this PIF.
Worldwide. & If you have a pedal powered helicopter, I want to see it. If you have a hang glider, no, it's too close to being wind powered only for me to allow it. Those pedal powered boats are acceptable as well.
Not very efficient, but it sure keeps your shoes clean! if this works, please count me in. I'd like to try the Clubman. Thanks, Kevin
Here is my tricycle (a.k.a. The Old-Bat Mobile) in which my friend Hillary Bear is getting a ride. Thanks!
Do you use the latest and greatest multibladed razor? Do you use an electric razor? Do you use canned goo? By definition, at least when it comes to shaving, 99% of us here in The Shave Den are Luddites.:ahem: If you have a picture from when you were a kid of yourself on a bicycle or tricycle, post it up and I'll accept it.
I'd like to see pedals or wheels. Sorry. Please refer to my first post. I like it, and it was clever, but I don't think it really fits the parameters of this PIF.
