What do the ladies use?

For those of you who have ladies that have converted to DE's ... What are they using for soap and how are they applying it? I see people talking about the woman using the lady gillette, and can't help but wonder if they are going the nine yards with soap and a boar brush :happy102

Considering a gift for the woman but might be weird because she really isn't too knowledgeable about my shaving obsession yet.

 

I use my own handmade soap, Lady Gillette and el cheapo brush for now.

 

My wife mostly uses Kiss My Face or TSD soaps. Once in a while I whip up a lather of one of mine. She has her own Silvertip and Best Brushes. (She actually had them custom made believe it or not... )

 

True, we don't typically let the women out among us. Sorry, my father in law mixes a mean Hi-Ball...

 

So...women have a place where they should be kept? Just askin'.

My wife uses a Savile Row SR-212 (Super, 30mm) for her shaving needs when a brush is used. She has various soaps in jars and mugs, plus a shave stick.

 

This gives me a picture of my wife shaving her legs with a straight. It will never happen (she thinks my DE looks scary), but the picture in my head is HOT!

 

My gf has two lady gillettes, and one ladies travel gillette (the ones in the gold pouch). She loves MB soaps, especially Tahitian vanilla and hydrogen, and uses a badger brush. Oddly enough, she prefers using a tub and bowl lathering than using a shave stick

 

My wife uses this setup from time to time..

Yes, that is the AOS brush, I picked it up last year for her on a 25% off sale at beautyhabit.com it's a neat little brush and it's very densely packed with badger hair

Or a can of goo and twin blade disposable (but this is becoming less frequent).

 

Since I dont have either wife or girlfriend I have gotten my best friend a nice setup instead..
