What in the World is Brown Sauce

    I've had this stuff i like it it's nothing like a-1 or 57 it's own thing altogether hard to put into words just try it and see what you think

    The difference between A1, Worcestershire, and HP is that the first two taste good.

    My dearly missed Dad, with his silly sense of humor(balanced against the seriousness he took to his career)would have said "Brown Sauce is sauce made on the campus of Brown University"). Now ya see where I got my silliness,, right? :)

    I quite like HP. It got me through a few trips to Africa as a steak condiment. Kinda reminds me of a thickened worcestershire with a bit of Pickapeppa.

    It is similar to A1 or Heinz 57. I have never seen it sold in the U.S., though.

    If that's the color of the stuff it looks like the old Brooks brand ketchup, which was a darker shade then Heinz.

    Says she likes A1 but prefers HP because that's what she grew up with.
