I got up this morning and got a great shave courtesy of my safety razor, a double edge blade, a horsehair brush, and a shaving stick My shaves have been a lot better and very much cheaper since I took up traditional shaving. For me, it's more about the experience of improved shaves rather than buying stuff. It has been 18 years now of better shaves. My 40 year old electric razor, which still worked until three years ago, recently got tossed into the trash There are no longer any local repair shops to change the batteries, and the manufacturer likely no longer services it Besides, the motor was giving off an ozone small before the batteries died. My 58 year old Gillette Slim still works fine, though!
