Babymomma or Babydaddy said as if either phrase were a single word. (Also, is it really that hard to say "mother/father of my child"?)
Old-school for "it is what it is" was "That's the way the cookie crumbles" or........."the ball bouncesd". To me, those sounded better. more positive, in a way.
on your last one-yes, I agree. Makes it sound logical to say "I think the ball bounced somewhere between you and I".
I'm VERY tired of "I'm(She/he's LIKE" and He/she GOES. My college friend(thus, just a couple years younger than me)STILL says "He GOES".
" just sayin" when I hear that after someone says something they feel was a biting remark I want to kick them in the throat. " Figure it out" that is one I hear to often when my wife is mad at me which makes me hate it all the more. Sent from my SM-G930R4 using Tapatalk
You're in Florida. Old people are hard of hearing. Ps. Before my wife got hearing aids she told me I mumbled; now she tells me I need hearing aids.
I live for the day when the same people who say all this "new wave" stuff, say "no one says that anymore". Then we can get back to "The fact is" (instead of "the truth is is that...)
"Speaks out" I tend to notice this in titles of news articles. The title will be something like "Mother of arrested teen speaks out" or "Shooting victim speaks out". I'm not sure why it bugs me other than it's over use.
"Shipping costs more than my order". Like one thing has anything to do with the other. All I can do is raise my prices. I certainly can't lower the USPS prices.
