From memory I’ve had that burning, tingling, from soaps like

barbershop from Stirling, but to be fair it went away after my fourth time using the soap

345 soap co “ShipWreck” -by far the worst reaction of all of them had to take it off my face right away. It was burning so I ran to the freezer and grabbed an ice cube! It was sooooo bad!

WSP - can’t remember which one it was but I’m pretty sure it was their barbershop

chiseled face summer storm- not so bad, but I’m not for you to recognize The discomfort

pinnacle grooming “ Caribbean Island“. Not so bad either. But still, nobody likes to buy a soap and for it to burn your skin.

anyone else have any similar experiences in their shave soap buying careers

I've had reactions to soaps with menthol in them. There is a Proraso that has menthol that is supposed to be for sensitive skin, but it gives me a burning rash. Otherwise, I have had a reaction to Maggard Razor's Barbershop, also (too bad, because I love the scent).

De Vergulde Hand ... an amazing Dutch soap which sadly irritates my skin.

I've been fortunate; I've never had any skin problems with any soap.
