Remember nothing about this stuff except for the name and the bottle. Was big at one time. Does anyone remember it fondly? Is it still around or gone for a reason?

Really? I may pick up a small bottle for nostalgia's sake. Thanks.

I just finished a bottle of the cologne about a month or so ago, and it's some good smelling stuff.

:) Howdy! British Sterling along with English Leather were popular around 1965-70. I was in high school 1964 to 1968 and they were both popular at that time. I remember having some of each. However, there were people back then that did not like the smell of either. YMMV, as they say. That time period also brings back memories of Jade East and Far East colognes. Always, Gene

Is English Leather the same as Imperial Leather?, you can't get that here in the UK anymore, it was made by Cussons, does ANY of this make sense to you lot?. Or am I talking "bollocks?".

I saw a "gift pack" of colognes at Sears around Christmas time. It had British Sterling, English leather, Canoe and some others, I can't remember seeing the British Sterling by itself though.

Just finished a bottle of British Sterling AS. Very similar to the 70's scent I remember. Good stuff!
