What's the best way to disinfect a bakelight Razor

I searched the forum and found lots of info on disinfecting but nothing really in regards to a Bakelight finish so apologies if this has been posted before. I'm expecting my razor to come today or tomorrow and was curious as to what would be the best method. I bought it from the razor emporium and supposedly they disinfect them before shipping but still I would like to do my own.
I see a lot of mention about using scrubbing bubbles, would this or any other method harm the plastic?

Maybe brew a pot of hot water in the coffee maker and give it a bath? Barbercide? 91% Alcohol? Moonshine?

I have used all sorts of petroleum solvents on Bakelite with no ill effects.

    YMMV.
