whats this razor? is it gold?

hiya i found this gillette razor and saw this site about them so thought someone on here should no, i tested if it was gold and it said it was, it weighs 60.3 grams.

is it gold or just plated i cant seem to see any rust on it.

is this a keeper or a piece of junk basically lol.

According to Mr Razors Website, that would be an English gold plated Flair Tip Super Speed Rocket.

Very nice...and nice case, as well. It's gold plated, but don't let that discourage you...I can't think of any solid-gold razors off the top of my head. It'll be a very nice shaver, and that's quite a find!

I was just looking in one of my shave cabinets and realized that I have the same razor, but without that pretty case. And not quite minty like the OP's.
