What's your favorite Aftershave and why

Pinaud Special Reserve ... both my wife and I really enjoy it.

 

I missed this before. I did not know how long it had been around. No wonder it goes great with the Williams!! Thanks for the information.

 

Proraso Red, Stirling Clubman, and Chiseled Face Summer Storm.

Great scents, can splash on as much as I want without fear of irritation or itch.

 

Old Spice. Memories of grandfather and my dad wearing it before work.

If this ends up a desert island question, no contest for me: Lucky Tiger after shave/face tonic. When I need what it does, nothing else comes close.

 

As of now, I have two favorites. Original Old Spice and Tabac. They smell nice and last.

Brut Splash On is the only thing I've really ever liked.
I use the Brut deodorant too. I'm intolerant of antiperspirants.
I find the cologne a little strong.
If the store supply was out, Aqua Velva.
I did use up some Skin Bracer once.
Everything else that was given to me eventually got the toss.

So now, after reading, maybe I need to spread my horizons and try out some new stuff.

Mine is one that isn't made anymore .. Stetson Untamed . I still have 1 bottle left. Clubman Pinaud is my most used so I guess it's my favorite still in production .

 

Ask me which child is my favorite, and that is easy to answer. Choosing between the one of him is straight forward, but to pick just one aftershave, that is hard!

My taste changes year to year, and it's hard to nail down my "favorite" as I have a few. So I played a mental game. If I could only have ONE aftershave for a long trip because limited luggage space (like if I were backpacking across Europe), which one would it be?

Proraso (regular - green) Aftershave would be it. The menthol and Eucalyptus really work for me. Excellent feel after shaving, and a hint of Azure Lime to my nose.



Follow it up with Proraso Azure Lime Cologne or any Citrus based scent like Old Spice Lime, L'Occitane Cedrat or Clubman Citrus Musk and you are set for the day.
