Used to be a cocker spaniel but since getting a king charles spaniel let me tell you what a cute little dog even though she's 2 years old she still looks like a puppy and then I'm gonna have to choose a Rottweiler
I'm going from what I've had experience with through friends and family (husky, black lab, greyhound, beagle/spaniel mix, Newfoundland, shepherd mix, boxer, boxer/beagle mix, yellow lab, chocolate lab, Akita, beagle, Airedale, English retriever, weimreinner and I'm sure others) My absolute favorite dog I've had (and still have) is my boxer/beagle mix that I rescued when I was looking for a full blood boxer
Pound puppies are the best, your typical mutt. If I'm buying a breed of dog I'm going with a Rottweiler or German Shepherd.
It's a close call for me, but I'll say an English Springer Spaniel, with a Greyhound as a near photo-finish in second.
Always. Growing up we only had one dog that was from a small breeder. The rest were humane society/strays that wondered in. I'd rather give a dog a great life than let it stay in the wild or stay in the pound/humane society
Here are Phoebe and Hunter, waiting for their breakfast. Phoebe is four months, and Hunter is going on six years. Living in MN, it is nice to have dogs that enjoy being outside a lot in the winter, and don't mind cold.
