Okay. I have one for you. Clix Five Hundred E-Z-FLO Conrad Razor Blade Company, Inc. The Clix razors were produced during the 1940's. Along with the other brands of the time they helped supply the US troops and helped to support the civilian market. There was also an all plastic version. The Five Hundred features a brass lacquer coated base plate and cap, along with a plastic handle and case. The all plastic version appeared in a cardboard box.
Well fellers, this one came in the mail today and you will never guess what is so significant about it. It is a V 3 date code:w00t:. The V and 3 are upside down compared to the everything else that is normally written under the head. The date code is close to handle and it is the prototype of the date codes. I couldn't believe it.
I just took a few photos, but I will try and get better ones tomorrow when I have the good ol' sun to provide proper lighting. I just got my Executive in today and my NOS slant the other day. The SS is in unbelievable condition. It doesn't appear to have been used.
