Firstly, I wish you all a safe & fun day. Are any of you dressing up for it? I’m going as a werewolf. Luckily there is not a full moon tonight, so I just have to wear my regular clothes & my regular face.
Not dressing up, but I'm sure people will see a man with a "Paul Turner" mask lol. There's a few kids in my bldg., thus I'm sure some will stop by for goodies.
Having had some time to change my clothes, I put on a western-style shirt with skulls embroidered on it.
This just in from the Penguinator News Network, @macaronus is going as an American tourist in Europe.
I answered the door disguised as one of the grumpy old men from the critic's balcony on the Muppet Show. Nobody could tell the difference from my regular attire..
We celebrated with my son's friends. SWMBO dressed as a witch, I was a wizard, my daughter was Totoro, my son was Captain Iglo (a figure from fish fingers commercials here in The Netherlands). We mostly celebrate it as an excuse to dress up, have a special dinner (with some creepy details) and generally have a good time together. The last three years I've been Gomez Addams (SWMBO was Morticia Addams that year), Sweeney Todd (the demon barber from Fleet Street) and Neo (The Matrix). Some of the friends usually come early to help with dinner preparations. Our dog Zorro has a Zorro cape to wear for the occasion.
