Has anyone tried the Wilkinson Sword Classic Razor or the rebranded one shoeboxshaveshop is selling under the Treet name and made in Pakistan? It is all plastic and covers the blade ends unlike other razors.

Bruceonshaving was praising the shave with it. I bought one and noticed what reviewers had said about the threading and the post could possible wear out or break. I had a hard time unscrewing the head from the body to place the blade and then getting the blade in securely and the head tightened back down. I cut my finger on one of the ends the head is supposed to cover once you close it.

The shave was good though and I can't see how you can nick your face with this one. Just watch your fingers in positioning the blade in the head.

I've never used one myself but they do seem to get mixed reviews.. and I see why. I've got the wilky brush which I think is rather laking. Heard good things about the blades though.. gonna try some soon. I did see positive reviews on the all plastic DE razor that Dorco makes.. goes for a buck I think...

I've used it and don't particularly care for it. It gives a good shave except in tight places such as around the nose/nostrils, because the head of it is so bulbous/domed/big/whatever you want to call it.

I enjoy it, but I use it almost exclusively for blade buffing. It's a blade buffing machine.IMHO

It is a mild razor. I have used in with great results including head shaving.
