wilkinson UK NOS, always the same blade?

hi,

i recently got wilkinson NOS from razorandbrush

i liket the blade very much (except the price)

i found a bragain deal w w w.blademail.co.uk/acatalog/bulk.html

do you know if there is only one quality in wilkinson NOS UK or might it be some bad surprise?

The vintage Wilk's I've tried, two diffferent types, are as different as night and day. The New Wilkinson's that came with my Sticky are incredible smooth blades. I have a couple other packs that are also stainless and are rough and Merkur like, I've tried two blades from a pack and still have yet to complete a shave with one before calling it quits.

i use wilki germany from times to times and there are great blades, i actually prefer the smoother touch of the Gio's Uk ones

but i read a post on SMF from a guy who got a 100 from blademail and was quite disappointed

 

i hate LB wilkinsons. one barely lasted me 1 1/2 shaves.


the germans on the other hand, well, i ordered 100 of them.

 

Ask the guy who ordered them to send you a few blades and check them out for your self. It would beat ordering 100.
