Although this cream was (apparently it's discontinued) marketed for France and Belgium, it was manufactured in Holland, and let me say this - it is excellent.

Ease of lathering: 10/10--A dab on both cheeks, wet your brush, and WHAMMM, a mountain of lather.

Longevity of lather: 10/10--Always holds up great for multi-pass shaves.

General skincare: 9/10--Very, very cooling, moisturizing and soothing.

Scent: 9/10--I love it. It's elegant, classy and traditional all at the same time, and also minty.

Price: 6/10--I bought it from a vendor who closed his webstore. Not cheap, but worth the price.

Would I buy again: 10/10--My goodness, yes. If I could find it again, I'd grab it. It's so good.

It's unfortunate that so many good creams and soaps have been discontinued to put more and more canned foam and gel brands on the market. This stuff is a real treasure, and the tube I'm using now is 3/4 finished, but I still have 1 more unstarted tube that I'll be keeping for myself. It really is a great cream. wilmen.jpg

Sadly the one powerful name of Williams is disappearing slowly but surely over time. It is truly a shame!

All may not be lost for Williams, I found 2 different kinds while visiting my wife's country Morocco in July. The Williams Rasage is produced under license by a Moroccan company, Pellissard, from a Dutch company, Zetra. They sell this one in 5 different versions , in small stores and supermarkets for under $1 , it seems a okay cream. The other Williams , Williams Expert, is sold locally but is a product of Sara Lee Household in Barcelona and lists Sara Lee's address in Holland, had a email address www. williams.es. This seems the better of the 2 and was found in a toiletries store in my wife's city , price was $2. I don't know how they compare to Jeff's Williams but at least some kind of Williams is still out there , cheap.

They just may be the same as my Williams cream, except with a different name. My Williams is the one in the black and green tube with the red stripe and white writing. That one is made in Holland as far as I know.
