I'm not sure about whether or not I'll keep the W11 upgrade, leaning towards not to, but I installed Ubunto KDE Plasma as a dual boot and liking it so far.
After having W11 now for a week, I can say it is a bit faster than W10. The changes made do make it visually more appealing and it's a keeper.
Only problem is that it doesn't show most windows pics and documents. Even checked "show hidden files" and tried other distros, same results.
I wonder if there is a permission issue with the folder where the files are stored and the user you are logged in as does not have read permissions. Another thought is the which file system was used for the partition where those pictures and documents are stored. Feel free to PM me if you want to talk through your installation steps.
