I finally got round to trying this cheap razor (cost me about £1 in a job lot buy) but can be bought for about £5-£10 with box or case. First impressions very cheaply made weight a very meager 25.4 grams!!! uber light wight and it has a long handle (10cm total length of razor) the finnish is poor tooling marks etc etc..... Loading the blade is easy as its 3 piece the blades looks to have a good even exposure on both sides, When holding the razor it felt a bit alien as its just so light and long unlike anything else I have (well after saying that I do have a tech but not used it yet lol) but the grip was very assured and no slippage. I was a bit apprehensive on the first stroke as its weight made me thibk more about the pressure I was going to apply to it, I need not of worried first down stroke mowed away the 2 day stubble with ease (hot shower Palmolive shave stick and Astra SP (D-3) enev with a blade on its 3rd outing, I usually give a new blade to a first outing of a razor so I can get a feel for its ability. I would say this razor is quite aggressive but gave a comfortable and enjoyable shave and was worth ever penny (all 100 of em lol) I forgot to take some before cleaning pics as I tried cleaning this with boiling water and washing up liquid, and cif mouse 4 times and it still looked bad, as uncared for aluminum that's 30 years old can look pretty rough. I was about to put to bin when I thought try the Dremmel, so wire brush head worked great and made it look better, then I buffed it up with autosol and then back to water and the cif, Ye s it cost me more to clean it that what I paid for the razor but Im very happy with it, and its will always be in my rotation. Overall verdict. Buy one if you have the chance esp at the low low prices hard to beat IMHO.
