I missed it the last three times the wait list was open. Pleased to be the first one on it this time. Looked at the site, looked at the wait list, went back and read through the "process," checked the wait list again, and bam! It was open for business.
I think I'm good on new brushes. There are however two brushes from now-gone-companies that I have offers to buy..but I'm doing my best not to.
Since a few of us seem to have taken the plunge, what shape/color combinations are you leaning towards? That is if you're not playing it close to the vest. I'm thinking maybe a Julie or Bishop in a clear green at the handle end and maybe Sherwood Forest or Mahoney's Meadow at the knot end. Sort of an Irish theme in honor of the Motherland. Not 100% sure about the knot, but I'll probably go synthetic.
I'm probably going to go with a clear amber base, I'm undecided on the rest of it. My fiancée with probably go with something pink, with the longest handle he can make. I will probably go with a 23mm Shavemac D01 two band knot, and she will go with a silvertip.
