    hi all
I have just purchased my first wooden rubberset off the auction site
I was reading a brilliant restoration thread on here the other day but can't find it again
I thinK the name mike was mentioned and he put a coin in the brush

@barbersurgeon adopted the JR#53. I have the other two. Do you have pictures of your wooden RubberSet?

    Is the #53 the 2-tone?

I want to apologize to the OP because I think I hijacked his thread. I had forgotten about the old wooden handled rubberset brushes. I was thinking of the 500 and how I made a few brushes in that style. Please forgive me for taking over your thread. I would still like to see your brush.

Look at post #12 @HollyRolla did the wood resto. He gave the link. Click on Rubberset restoration on his post. That i believe is what you are looking for.

Good luck with your project. Keep us posted.
