Working out. What did you do today??

Since the gyms have been closed for a while, I have had to modify my workouts. I havent lifted weights in a while, but have been doing a lot of bike riding.

Today, in the morning, I went for an easy 14.5 mile ride, on my mountain bike. Late in the afternoon, my wife wanted to go on a short ride, so we did a 9.7 mile ride, at an easier pace.

Walked up and down the steep basement stairs like an exercise machine until I was tired.

 

Threw football with my son.

I do some light stretching in the morning before my shower. I do need to get back to my upper-body stretches that I do here at home before going to the gym.

I went to work.

 

The gym is open here, temperature check and you have to wear a mask. Every other treadmill is closed and no gx until next week. Today I warmed up on the treadmill then legs and stomach,, it’s nice since not many people are the gym.

 

Looks like he's going all the way.

 

Perfection! We get out daily and let him run routes. We are also working out in our neighbors' home gym.

2.6 mile walk on the greenbelt. No bike ride today, because of the weather. It was in the 80's with sweltering humidity. So humid, there was a haze hanging in the woods I walk in, even at 4pm.

 

I've been looking for a good used bike since the gym is closed. Usually they are a dime a dozen on the local marketplace ads. Now that the stimulus checks have hit, everyone is selling for $300 and up.
