Just curious its like the cartridge razor of the wet shaving world and being vintage to boot soooo would they take it away?
I usually travel with an injector and I've never had a real problem. Once it was taken out and inspected b/c they weren't sure what it was on x-ray. But, otherwise, no issues.
Just to clarify, as long as there is no blade in the razor, you can take it in your carry-on bag. But the blades must go in your checked luggage.
they're not smart enough to figure it out. I still wouldn't risk it though.OP should get the Gillette Guard single blade cartridge razors.
I agree. That's the longer story. The Gillette Guard is magnificent for carry-on. Inexpensive and gives good shaves.
Most of the TSA Agents are too stupid to work at "White Front Store's" They went out of business before you were born. Many years ago.
One time I had a Superspeed (no blade) in my carry-on bag and after being x-rayed my bag was pulled & inspected by two TSA agents. They opened it up and checked for a blade, then put it back and gave me the ok. Caused me about 2-3 extra minuets in line but I had plenty of time for my flight. That was at a small regional airport, I've never had that happen at Reagan or Dulles.
Sage advise. I lost a very nice corkscrew to TSA. They didn't seem to believe me when I told em it was uncivilized to travel without one. Barbaric Neanderthals
Technically the blade is removable, although it is very difficult to remove, and therefore I would think an injector would be viewed as a no-no to the TSA. I second (or third) the suggestion of the Gillette Guard.
Technically, no. Without a long winded exposé, I have learned to never flew with any carry-on shaving implements I am too uncomfortable to lose.
