Would you let her.

So I was stropping a razor this morning and my Mrs said can I get a go of shaving you.now I'm not sure if I trust her with a razor near my throat.lol.

 

Not me with a str8. You on the other hand... I would love to see.

 

Only if she was already proficient using one to shave her legs. Then I wouldn't have a problem.

 

Would she benefit from a large life insurance policy?

 

I wouldn't let my wife dab Barbasol can o'foam on my face. Fingernails, y'know.

 

I'd let her. I don't think she would want to though. She'd be too scared.

 

Start with your cheeks, going WTG? Plenty of barbers shaved others with no more incentive that a fee & a tip.

 

The incentive part is exactly what I'd be worried about.

 

My perspective on "The Wife" has different levels. Married for 20 happy years, 30 total. Now divorced more than 5 years, she and I still have our now adult children & grandchildren in common. We have no friction, and I'd consider letting her give it (straight shave) a go.

 

I'm positive my wife wouldn't want to. I think she would do fine if I showed her how to do it, but the risk of cutting me would be more than she would want to run.

I just don't trust anyone around my neck, with a straight razor. Too many Italian Mafia movies. You know, "Italian Necktie".

I dont see why not. She's cut hair before (cosmetology school). I think mine could do it. Im not sure how much rszor butn I'd get. Maybe none?

 

My wife doesent even like the fact that I shave myself with an SR; no way she'd go for it.

 

I would for sure...HOWEVER I dont have a "proper" chair/way for her to do it, so that would probably be a condition I would have.

 

My wife won't even come in the bathroom anymore when I'm using my straight razor ever since I sliced my chin.
