Been shaving with it lately and I have to admit that with the proper prep I get a decent shave, maybe not as smooth as with a Merkur safety but good enough. The blade feels quite smooth, too. The yellow BIC is definitely a piece of pop culture! I also highly recommend the BIC double edge blades, made in Greece. They're very sharp. Some even compare them to the feather. But they are much cheaper than the feather. Also, I can't believe there has not been a single thread on BIC razors! The search yields nothing.
