Being a cart, I don't think it would be the "Perfect Shave" as they claim, but to each his own.

Heated blades are the future! Personally, I use hot water to heat them

Wouldn't that ruin a great cold water shave?

Yep, and it was one characteristic of going to cold water. Hot blades, razor burns, caused some of the irritation, along with carts.

Forget heated blades, just use a blow torch and melt 'em off....

But, but, but... "It is scientifically proven through comprehensive laboratory testing that SmartRazor's warm blades slice through hair up to 200% easier than other brand's non-heated blades."

I shudder to think of what the replacement blades will cost.

According to the kickstarter page a pack of 4 replacement blades will set you back +$26.00. That is $6.50.each cart. Not happening. And besides, they have 27 days to raise $92,450. I honestly don't think they will get the money they want.

I bought a Merkur Classic 33c for $20.00 and a 100 pack of Astra SS for around $10.50. I'll stick with my gear and let another sucker buy the Heaterazor !!!

So when the Kickstarter busts, do I get my money back?

    That's for their next kickstarter

To call a device "smart" these days and not offer wifi or even bluetooth

How is this any different than running the blades under hot water for a few seconds?

Just another way to get people to buy something they really don't need.
