Your number 1 Gillette razor

I love my Fat Boy and my Slim but I am amazed at how my Short Handle 'Black Beauty' shaves every time I use it. The Black Beauty and the modern Merkur Progress are my favorite shavers.

 

My favorite razor is either my Sheraton or Fat Handle Tech, but my Super Adjustable (U2) is my go to shaver.

My new 0ld 1964 Slim SS adjustable which was my great grandfather's. Awesome Razor and like new as he passed away in 1964. He'd only used it a handful of times.

 

That's got to be some kind of contradiction someplace.

 

That is a special razor indeed. I don't have a thing that my great grand father owned. Oh, maybe a few genes, but that's it. What a treasure!

 

Yeah. It's really cool. That's my great grandfather Robert's. What I want of my great grandfather Palmer's is the 1950 Harley Davidson Panhead my father currently has. That too will be special.

 

You had some cool grandfathers. The Panhead is unbelievable!

 

I'd say now it's my Edwin Jagger db89 , my slim adjustable h1 is very close second.

I don't think Gillette ever really made a bad one. From my 1920's Old Type to my my 60 fat Boy and all the ones in between.

 

I have my grandfather's and my father's 58 T.V. Special Super Speeds. One is a D1 and the other a D3. And Pop's razor before that his war time Tech, and his one after the T.V.Special, his Schick Krona.

 

I've got a English Gillette Tech that I like. I'd like to try a Red Tip, but otherwise I've been unimpressed with their Super Speeds.

 

I have an old 1960 something adjustable. Nothing fancy. Just a great old razor in good user condition. It gives me s great shave every morning. What's not to love?

 

My 1965 slim adjustable with Israel Red razor blades is my favourite

 

Out of all the razors in my collection, a favourite is the Hybrid Tech, the one that keeps coming out most in my SOTD posts.
To me the best of the Techs.
