1958 or 1983?

I have been doing a little homework, but still have a little reserve on making the call. From what I gather it is 1983. Can anyone help me with a definitive answer on what year my Super Speed is? Pictures below:

Same here. I am from the 1st Qtr though. I am still in the hunt for a D1 that isn't grossly over inflated in price. Also, hunting around for an E2 for a friend of mine in Switzerland. No luck so far.

 

Coincidence - I'm a D1 also, but the 1958 variety. I'll find a D1 Toggle cheap one day. (I know I'll never find one for what I'd be willing to pay)

Jr2, the Gillette super speeds were wonderful razors. I prefer some years over others, but all provided nice shaves. As you can see from the chart, yours was towards the later years of super speed production.

 

I gave it a go a few weeks ago. I did like it. Takes a little while to get used to the larger head, though. I have Super Adjustable that my father gave me, and really dig it.
