I know, a total newb question, but I just gotta ask.....Will the old Gillettes with the 2 pin type blade holding design use the standard DE blades available now?
If you are referring to the 'Old Type' design razors like the ones pictured below, yes they accept modern blades. They can be aggressive though.
Ahhh, tks! I thought this open tooth comb looked wicked. This looks exactly like the ones in your picture.
I love open combs but they can be aggressive. got to really pay attention to them or they will bite you, Fuzzy
A matter of the right blade and right technique I'd think. I like the thought of more lather left on the skin for the blade to contact, but I'll wait to use Grampa's razor until I get a bit more experienced and hang out with my 3 dollar solid bar. We are getting along just fine and I see no reason to mess that up :love008
I would agree that the technique is important with those.. but you will eventually love it I bet. Fuzzy
