    Hi Guys

This came in yesterday & so far I've cleaned it (didn't take much) tossed the soap stick and re-knotted the brush with a new black Badger knot. I like the French razors and I have a few more coming in. This one's in very nice shape, will be used from time to time and for travel as long as I take checked luggage and not just carry on. I've got a number of travel sets and I like taking different ones on trips.

I've been looking for a really nice one for sometime now. Have been able to find nice component parts but not the case. Congratulations on doing both!

Beautiful set. Le Coq did make some fine looking razors, no doubt.

So, so funny.:D I could only find them on ebay in the uk. I thought there'd be somewhere in the USA to find them.

I think you need to share that French razor fishing hole.

Nice travel set. I would definitely travel with that kit. I traveled this summer without my DE's and had to end up using those disposables. If anyone wants to remember what it used to be like before some of us experienced the fine shave of a DE, try one of those disposable razors out. You will be so glad you evolved into a DE razor!

This actually inspired me to go on ebay-France last evening. Very interesting... lots of straights, fewer DE. Curiously, English Gillettes seemed primary among DE's. There is the language barrier issue, if you don't speak french...
