So I was going through my drawer of loose razors and came upon an unexpected surprise. Laying near the bottom was a Gold Schick G2 in serious need of cleaning. I ran it through a quick bath and this is what came out. There is still a ton of old buildup that needs to come off but all in all it is an adequate display razor. I must have found it in my days of collecting infancy and not realized how special it is. What is a drawer of loose razors you ask? It is a drawer full of razors without a case that I have acquired over the past couple of years from hitting flea markets, garage sales, and antique shops. Some were extras from eBay lots. I will need to boxes for one or more of them but I came to the conclusion that I have way more adjustables than I though I did. I think I will have to sort them out when I get a spare weekend so I can catalog the date codes. Here is a quick look at what I am talking about. Enjoy!

Very nice pile of "other". I recognize many if not by name, then by the general type. What is that in the lower right corner - gold and black with a thick handle? I can't tell if it's something new or vintage. Schick-A is the round silver colored tube? What are the gold square tubes all lined up? (I don't mind asking question, that's how ya learn!)

OK, Seriously? You are complaining about a Schick A in the drawer. I will have you know that it is on top with two B 1's, a B2, a C1, C2, and C3. Now, I would put it in my closet, neatly with my other cased razors, but as you can see I currently have a slight space issue while I try to figure out display options in my cramped house. OK, I have more in boxes, but we won't discuss those today.

It is new as of three years ago. It is called the Matador El Gordo that I bought from Razor Blades and more a few years ago. You can see a better picture Here. EDIT: The gold tubes are the Schicks it the next set of photos. below the original.
I have, but until my old muther passes away, may her life be long, I have no room for one until her room is cleaned out. I do have a small display in the downstairs bathroom that I rotate out. Here is what it looks like currently.
