I just picked up a Gillette silver flare tip, B-2. Very nice shape, for $5. There is another sale that was going on and the guy cleans out houses and has to go through his stuff, he thinks he has a few DE razors, I will be going back today to see.
Good score! It is frustrating when I go to estate sales and hear folks tell me, "Oh, I threw out all those old razors".
Networking FTW! I've left my name and phone number with antique shops & thrift stores. You have given me another resource to investigate - professional estate marketers. There is at least one local company that will go through the possessions of the recently departed and handle the sale of unwanted heirlooms. I share your pain. I'd rather hear someone beat me to the goods.
