Anyone else have trouble with Geo F Trumper soap?

Like I said. It's a shame about the shave quality of the soap because it smells really good.

 

This issue has been known for years, so a) they don't have any quality control, or b) they don't care. Or c) both.

 

Damn. The Ginger's Garden "Safari" dupe didn't turn out to be a match to my nose (although the soap quality was very good on the shave end). Unless one of my backup duplication plans comes out smelling like a winner, then I may end up stuck with Geo F Trumpers soap until I can find a vintage Safari shave puck. Looks like pre-shave oil will be a 'must' when shaving on Safari fragrance day.
