Arghhhh!!! Shulton Old Spice Poured Down The Drain.

I bought some Shulton Old Spice Aftershave and Cologne, off of eBay, for a very good price. I was just informed by the seller that she went to the post office in NY City, and they toldd her she cannot ship liquids. So, she went home, poured it all out, and let me know it would be delayed in shipping, because she was told to pour it out, before it could be shipped. Arghhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!
The postal service will ship it full of liquid, but it just goes by ground. She said a full refund will be issued. I didn't get mad, just sad.

Reminds me of how happy I was to get my case of Rise Super Foam-thinking it was the same as the original Rise and they just changed the name. Almost, but not quite. THAT made ME sad-that it wasn't the same brand Butkus, Lucas, and Robistelli did those ads for.

 

That is truly sad news.

I would say, though, that the Stirling "Spice" does come quite close to Shulton's original. I like that.

 

So there’s hope for us old Old Spice fans after all.

 

And they can ship with out dumping it down the drain.

She poured it out... I don’t even know how to respond. Throwing the baby out with the bath water comes to mind.

 

What a waste .

 

That explains why the sewer rats in that area, while still vermin, smell terrific.

 

This thread motivated me to call P&G today and start pleading for the rerelease of REAL Old Spice............even at a higher price point with some fanfare to wake up a customer base that knows the current stuff isn’t the true product that built such a strong reputation and following. IMO there’s a market.

I got stuck on hold and gave up, but I’ll try again until I reach a live body.
