That is too funny. My daughter came home this weekend and asked me to make "sadlebags" a recipe she saw on one of the cooking shows. They are a pancake with chopped bacon cooked in it, topped with an egg. They were delicious, and to think I believed them to be something new! Now if I had been thinking like a real man, I would have poured that batter right over the bacon strips in the pan just like Aunt Jemima said. Will N.
Interesting that the recipe you made did not also call for grits and red eye gravy...it sounds good though!

This will be the third year serving this at halftime of the SuperBowl. They had me at 'weave a mat of bacon'. We always have pancakes and bacon...why not together?!
