I happily use both. I have 5 Rise Super Foams to go, plus the one I have working now. And I rotate that in with the soaps.

great read, my walmart has it all but the yellow. I used red for years, but purple seems much slicker. A lot of bang for the buck.

Classic shave! Osage and Barbasol. You and RobyFlexx are favorite posters. I look forward to your SOTD pics.

I always loved shaving - and I used various disposables and canned barbasol and Gillette my entire life. I also used old spice / clubman / stephans for after shave. but 7 or 8 months ago I purchased a DE razor and a brush and it was all over after that - haha.

Graduated from DE to Injectors - I am at the Type E injector phase - and will move to the twin injectors after that. once I am done with the injectors I have 5 Gems waiting for me - that will be the next learning curve..... I always figured I would never use a straight, but the schick type E shaves I have had the last two days were JAW dropping and a something different. I picked up a crown king shavette from douglas - 20 bucks and I think it looks really sweet! I can barely sharpen my pocket knifes so I do not plan on having a straight that would require sharpening - so shavettes will be good for me - but not for a while

back to barbasol - I swore I would never use the can again - but that was dumb! I notice I like to lather my soaps to have same consistency as barbosol .haha

I did a barbosal and Gillette can shave with a DE over vacation and it was awesome - back to the basics! I picked up a can of purple barbosal and shave secrete (with u and roby as inspiration) at wally world Saturday - adding them to my rotation - thanks again for the pics and fun reads

 

Thanks for your compliments! I agree with you about @Robyflexx, his shave reports are always beautiful, every time.

I have no experience with Shave Secret, but if you feel like it helps you, definitely try it!
