I got mine at Bed Bath & Beyond. It does ok . I rarely use it though. I have a can of Noxzema in it. I usually just put Barbasol in my bowl and add a little water to thin it down a tad.
Here's the goo warmer. Nothing fancy but it gets the job done if you want a warm lather. I think I paid 10$ for it. Sent from my LGLS755 using Tapatalk
SOTD In shower shave. Gillette Vector (Atra) Personna twin plus cart Two pass shave I have been trying out this Vector (India) along with the Gillette Guard off and on for a few weeks. Both are great shaves but I prefer the Vector. I got it and 100 Personna twin plus carts for less than $20. I will be investing in a good handle for these carts soon. As much as I love DE shaving I get a better shave with a 2 blade cart. Sounds weird but true. I tried a pack of Bic twin select a while back and have since tried a few different two blade disposables. I wanted something I could order in bulk. These Personna are a great deal via Amazon. Cheers! Sent from my LGLS755 using Tapatalk
I tried both the Vector and the Personna blades with my Atra handle. The Personnas won by a landslide. Just a much better shave, YMMV.
Thanks. Family Dollar Spice ain't bad at all. I mix 50/50 with P&G and have convinced myself it duplicates the Shulton formula. You will have to indulge me on that one.
SOTD 1.30.2018 Pre-shave: hot shower Cream: Barbasol Original (applied by hand) Razor: Magic by Master Barber Blade: Derby (2) Post-shave: Assured WH (Dollar Tree brand), Nivea Men Sensitive PS Balm, Pinaud Clubman Special Reserve AS / Cologne
I've got to try the Clubman Special Reserve, I've heard it's similar to Old Spice Burley Aftershave. Clayton Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337 using Tapatalk
Cool, don't see it in drugstores too much anymore. Mainly see the Clubman, and Bay Rum on the shelves, and sometimes the Veg. Clayton Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337 using Tapatalk
I have a shavette but haven't found the courage to try it yet. I've watched a ton of vids but when I get it in my hands I get iffy and bail.
