Best floral/clean soap scents?

Because I purchased mine for the scent and performance, before Gingers Garden upped her Marketing Game.

 

Love Tabac's scent and performance. I've just never considered it having a floral scent.

 

It doesnt, but i didnt have the heart to tell him. Klar doesn't either...at least, not the ones i have used.

 

Klar is rose scented, and rose is a flower, so it's flowery. Tabac is tobacco flower scented, so, by definition, is also flowery.

I feel ya. Tobacco flower is not a "floral" scent, even though tobacco plants do grow flowers. Weeds grow flowers as well.

You are right about klar having multiple scents, one of which is rose.

Generally, ones which have essential oils stemmed from rose, gardenia, petunias, etc are considered floral.

 

I've got a bottle of Pinaud FlourdeFrance, courtesy of @Jorvaljr .
Its has a great clean floral scent.

 

I'm so glad you enjoy it. I've used mine sparingly. But I love the scent.. I soo need to find another source... I regret selling the other bottle.. I could of had two. I had 3.

 

I found references to Fleur de France by Pinaud on the interwebs, but it seems to be discontinued. Lilac without The Vegness?

I keep hoping to run across a modern version. It's that nice.

 

I have florida water coming in the mail tomorrow. I need to rock a nice soap though. I like mama bears rose ice.

I am looking forward to fall scents too though.

 

best floral/clean soap I have is saponificio varesino 70th anniversary....havent used a lot, but this is probably my favorite soap I have.

Do you like the scent of Lily of the Valley? MW has that scent if your a fan. I happen to not care for it but its strong enough to hang around a few hours.

 

Any opinions on Catie's Bubbles "Royal Garden", which is a Rose & Eucalyptus based scent???

I have always loved lavender. African violets as well as Rose petals as well as gardenias. I don't know if I would like them in my soap to much other than lavender. I have a few lavender soaps though.

trumpers rose, lavender, and eucris seem to have a florally aspect to them. Eucris is the longest lasting English cream I have tried. It will fade, but go ride in a hot car,and after a bit its all youll smell.

Klar made a big cella like brick of rose scented soap until recently. A week after I heard of its existence I found it had been discontinued.

 

My current favorite florals are:

Caties Bubbles royal garden, CB jardin d'or, strop shoppe midnight in the garden, barrister and Mann 42, Tobs avocado cream (trust me, it is floral...not avocado), and mama bears Rose ice.

I'm sure I am forgetting some. I really love florals, and I have several. I really badly want to buy/try barrister and Mann's passiflora!
