Bidded on a Gillette Adjustable razor- waiting to see if I'm going to win.

I went on Ebay a couple hours ago and bidded on a gillette adjustable razor. It was $41.99. The auction listing for that razor is going to end in five minutes and I'm now waiting to see if I'm going to win. If I do, or don't, I'll either way make an update thread.

What's the difference between a slim and a fatboy?

 

Fatboys go for more despite being quite common razors. Forum mania. Some say the Slim is the more aggressive. I prefer the Krona to either. Will be interested to see what you think.

I like the Krona, too. It shaved me well every time so far. Can't wait to try the Gillette Slim.

 

Conventional wisdom is that the FatBoy and Slim have identical gaps at each setting but that the lower profile head on the Slim makes it feel about 1 setting more aggressive.

The SA is a stranger beast. It has the same head profile as the Slim, but is generally considered to be milder, at least at lower settings.

 

As aggression is a combination of all factors (not just gap or exposure) I'd say if it feels more aggressive it IS more aggressive.
