BLADE TEST

Started out with MERCUR blades, bought some ASTRA & Blue bird blades and my FEATHER blades just arrived from Thailand (took 5 weeks, 50 blades for $13.00 w/ free shipping). The testing begins. Will be using my MERCUR heavy duty DE 38C.

 

Sounds like a DFS to me.

Thanks for the link. Intetesting. And the results so far match, ASTRA are the best of the first three tested. Just so much fun experimenting.

I am taking advice from the link . I will solely use the blue bird blades for 30 days. Then when I get my technique down, i will move to the other blades. Just a note: these are the dullest blades. Maybee 2 shaves at best per blade with too many passes. I have a hundred of these so will not mind burning through them.
