Wanting to know what your thoughts on it are after using it and if it's worth the cost over another offering. At $300 it's pretty pricey and someone could buy either the TR-2 coming out or a Rocnel de-p and save some scratch.

last year the Canadian government sold off surplus items. Including a bunch of 1950s cased Gillette razors in the original case and sealed packages.
A guy on ebay was selling a bunch of them. Very nice razors and sets, but at 150 dollars, it shaves no better or worse then the identical razor I purchased for 15 dollars, made the same year, most likely on the same equipment and production line.

I have and it is an excellent razor, my favorite adjustable. It has a very wide adjustment range and the craftsmanship is superb.

Is it worth $300? That is an individual questions and will vary by person. My Futur was my favorite adjustable before the B&R, hard to say if the slightly incremental shave is worth the extra scratch. I will be keeping both.
