Canoe Aftershave and EdT

I use to use Canoe when I was a teen to early twenties, but it fell out of favor with me and I gave it to my boys a few years back (+15). About two years ago I really got into Clubman, so I probably should try Canoe again.

 

it's a little more subtle than Clubman

 

Used Canoe A/S this morning after shaving with Razorock XXX. Pairs up nice.

 

After a great shave(DFS+) with the Fat, splashed on some Canoe A/S. Paired up great. I've noted that the Fat goes with most anything.

 

Another Fat, Canoe pairing this morning. A nice close shave with my 1911 Single Ring OLD.
Finished with a splash of Canoe
Now that's living y'all!

Smooth and smelling great!

At the risk of sounding like a broken record, another Wool Fat Wednesday, another splash of Canoe!
Brother Andrew @Linuxguile is having a hard time finding the elusive magic elixir. Can anybody out there give him a hand?

 

I have a 2oz bottle sitting in my cart on ebay at a relativity inexpensive price with free shipping. I've just been holding out on putting the trigger.

 

I just pulled the trigger on the Canoe and a bottle of vintage Avon Wild Country

 

Both winners in my den. If you have tried Pinaud Clubman, Canoe will be familiar. Avon Wild Country seems to be the scent I find most often in the wild. Purchased first time for the scent, and a second decanter for the interesting bottle.

I thought so, too! When it's used up I might mount the eagle on the hood of my truck.

Thanks, Jim. I don't recall where or when. Since I haven't finished the other bottle yet this one has been setting tucked away in a cabinet. Could have been the flea market along side I-10, east of Beaumont. Look up the Red Wagon Cafe, then go west 50 feet. There's a Latino gentleman with a large permanent stand. I cleaned out his tray of adjustable Gillettes. Pretty sure I purchased at least one Avon decanter full of juice from him.
